As we continue to improve our website, FontShop returns to the medium for which we are known best: print. Online tools are handy for finding and sampling fonts, but type is best seen in ink on paper and we’re not about to abandon the printed page. From FontBook to Font magazine, design professionals around the world turn to FontShop publications for reference and inspiration. The latest editions to the FontShop print library are Font 007 and a new reference guide: FontBooklet.

Most type was meant to be seen on paper. It’s with that knowledge that we present FontBooklets — a series of printed specimens that give ample space and tribute to the best fonts for professional typography. |

Unlike a throw-away catalog, FontBooklets are filled with typefaces chosen purely on their merits, not as part of any marketing scheme or in response to the latest trend. Keep them near your desk and put the tactile joy back into type selection. |

So what’s black and yellow and read all over? FontShop printed goodies are, of course. And now you can add green to the palette, too: everything we produce at FontShop San Francisco uses recycled or FSC-certified paper, and environmentally-friendly inks. We believe in top notch publishing, but we’ll do our best to relieve the planet while we’re at it.
